My name is Kimberly but feel free to call me Kim. I am originally from Southern California but seem to keep moving North having lived in Shell Beach, Santa Cruz and now San Francisco. I am currently working to complete my MFA in Web Design and New Media at the Academy of Art University. My primary focus at the university is user interface and user experience design. I received my BA at the University of California, Santa Cruz in Anthropology (I love chimps). I have over 7 years experience working in tech with a strong background in marketing and public relations. About a year ago, I decided to leave my steady career at a top 50 website to pursue my passion…design. Call me crazy but I couldn’t be happier. As a designer I offer inside knowledge about SEO and marketing. I utilize my previous work experience to ensure that my clients’ designs are not only functional and great to look at but that they get the exposure they deserve.
